SCOPE OF THE MEETING
The concept of supramolecular chemistry becomes one of the keys to understand biological system and to design functional molecules. Its main domain covers molecular self-assembly, molecular recognition,biomimetics, and molecular machinery. Supramolecular chemistry became even more sophisticated, with researchers such as developing molecular machinery and highly complex self-assembled structures, and developing sensors and methods of electronic and biological interfacing. The emerging science of nanotechnology also had a strong influence on the subject, with building blocks such as fullerenes, calixarene, and dendrimers becoming involved in synthetic systems. After the 3.11 earthquake, new problems are challenging us such as demand for new clean energy and more effective health care technology. The present meeting aims to pursue new trends in this field to provide clue and guide to stand up them.
